Syntelligent is seeking candidates to fill our Customer Service Specialist pipeline for work on our awarded contract in Washington D.C. 

While the current workforce has been identified and all billets have been filled, we are seeking candidates to fill our pipeline to maintain consistency of this workforce.

Responsibilities

The Customer Service Specialist shall be responsible for receiving and processing visitors to the client site in accordance with established Visitor Management and security guidelines, provide direct support to visitors and employees assisting with routine individual and/or large group visits, foreign visits, press events, VIP events, vehicle access, and construction contractor access. The Customer Service Specialist shall provide direct support to the Visitor Management Branch as staffing needs dictate to include, but not limited to, the screening and scheduling of visitors to the client.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the management at the Visitor management program to include processing requests for access to the client site utilizing a centralized database which tracks visits/visitors, parking, and personnel currently assigned to the site. Ensure that all requisite information is input into the database in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
  • Assist with the management of calls to the Visitor Centers, providing guidance or forwarding inquiries, as appropriate
  • Act as a liaison between the visitor, the POC, Visitor Management, Force Protection, and FPS assisting with the resolution of any issues which may arise
  • Maintain hard-copy as well as electronic logs for (but not limited to):
    • DHS Component and Federal Government Employees
    • Lost/Forgotten Badges
    • Armed visitors
    • Badge accountability
  • Issue parking passes as appropriate

Qualifications

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

    • Ability to read and interpret guidelines and SOPs
    • Experience in data entry and administration of security information and programs
    • Ability to deal effectively with representatives and high-level officials both inside and outside of government
    • Ability to obtain terminal operator certification from the Department of Justice National Crime Information Center training course
    • Computer and Office Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint; MS Excel), Web-based mail, web browser
    • Eligibility for DHS Suitability Clearance required. Current DHS suitability preferred.
