    Responsibilities

    Syntelligent is seeking experienced IT Help Desk Associates (Tier 1 Service Desk Support Technicians) for awarded work in Ft. Detrick, MD.  
     
    Tasks will include: 
    • Providing 24/7/365 Tier 1 support at a Service Desk for the US Army to meet and/or exceed established Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
    • Answering and responding to inbound calls/emails in a timely and professional manner
    • Properly documenting interactions in the appropriate tracking system, escalating issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner, sustain currency of work instructions and related process changes.
    • Maintaining and updating records and tracking databases.
    • Alerting management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. 
    • Resolving technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
    • Diagnosing, identifying, isolating and analyzing problems utilizing historical database records and online SOP's
    • May route calls to product line specialists.


    Qualifications

    Required Experience:
     
    • Education: High school diploma required; Associates degree a plus
    • Years of experience: Must have at least 6-12 months of experience
    • Security Clearance: Must have Secret Clearance
    • Certification: Must be DoD 8570 Compliant: A+ (CE) or Sec+ (CE) with HDI or Net+ (CE) with HDI
    • Experience with Remedy or other ticketing systems a plus
    • Shift: Must be available for shift work; Shifts are Monday-Friday with multiple start times to fit business needs.  Primarily 1st or 2nd shifts, however 3rd shift when required and other hours to include weekends
