    Responsibilities

    Syntelligent is seeking a "Publications Officer" with expertise supporting the Intelligence Communitiy's  Analytic Production and Design Center (ATC).  This is a proposal opportunity, the work will be in St. Louis, MO.

     

    General duties required to support the ATC include, but are not limited to:

    • Support ATC’s mission to produce world-class geospatial content that empowers decision makers by making sense of the world as it exists today and anticipating the events that will shape the world of tomorrow.
    • Work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions; must be available to perform duties in a multiple-shift, crisis support (on-call) environment, as necessary.
    • Work with INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY/ATC in a production support branch assisting in the production and dissemination of finished intelligence products.
    • Verify classifications provided by analysts or direct them to classification management teams.
    • Coordinate and disseminate finished intelligence products as required.
    • Provide quality control in accordance with INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY policy and standards for intelligence products.
    • Attend regularly scheduled production support meetings and stay current with ongoing production support initiatives.
    • Demonstrate customer service excellence by clearly and concisely communicating work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements, options, and concerns with team members, managers, and customers within INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY and the Intelligence Community.
    • Participate in meetings with customers, team members, contractors, and others to exchange information, make decisions, and/or provide updates.
    • Support the office and other branches in accomplishing the agency's overall mission, including expediting crisis (on-call) work, special assignments, and ad hoc tasking on variously scheduled arrangements.
    • Identify inconsistencies in products between overall classification, portion marks, and dissemination level, ensure declassification data is correct, consult with author and/or the Sourcing & Security Policy Team to verify and fix.
    • Identify inconsistencies between cited sources and in-text attributions in products.
    • Consult with author to verify and fix accuracy of references.
    • Work with the Sourcing & Security Policy Team to obtain updated sourcing and classification information, and disseminate that information to the ATC workforce.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Experience:
     Required:
    • Experience with sourcing intelligence reports and classification markings
    • Possess professional-level facility on PC platforms with electronic publishing applications—Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies.
    • Experience in problem identification and analysis.
    • Ability to manage time and efforts, including the ability to prioritize work and handle multiple, simultaneous due dates.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to research and gather information.
    • Experience in developing working relationships and networking.
    • TS/SCI security clearance 
    Desired:
    •  

      Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (7-10 yrs.) in a related field.
    • Experience in problem identification and analysis.
    • Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Familiarity with the U.S. Intelligence Community
    • Superior customer service skills
    • Detailed oriented
    • Experience working sourcing and classification issues for the Intelligence Community or Military
