    Responsibilities

    Syntelligent is seeking two (2) Planning, Policy, Business Analysis and Policy Officers Level IV for upcoming work in Springfield, VA, to advise, assist, lead, manage, work all Policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication, and compliance IAW PLCM Business Operations process; support SME development, coordination and maintenance of all assigned agency-wide Policies; SME Self Inspection Checklists, Gap Analysis, etc.

    Duties shall include:

    • Advise and assist senior policy leaders in fulfilling roles and responsibilities IAW the agency's Corporate Policy Program to include the following:
      • Lead, manage, work and/or support Policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, promulgation, communication, and compliance IAW PLCM process and procedures for assigned NGA-wide Corporate Policies, IT Services, Policies for daily IT Operations, CIO Enterprise Policies, and Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Section 508 Policies
      • Lead, manage, oversee and support SME development of SME Self-Inspection Compliance Checklists to ensure policy implementation, monitoring and tracking
      • Lead, manage, oversee and support SME analysis and determinations for Gap Analysis, and Policy revisions/updates
      • Conduct independent verification and validation to ensure Policies are clear, fact-based, accurate, outcome-driven, consistent with external guidance, and reflective of strategic planning 
      • Serve as Policy Officers for their TBD assigned policy functional areas
      • Support implementation of Policy Business Process Improvements
      • Support tracking and reporting of Policy Business Analytics 
      • Support tracking and reporting of metrics and Policy Performance Measures 

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:
    • Shall have expert knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working IT policies IAW government processes and procedures
    • Shall have expert knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise leading, managing and working SME policy self-inspection checklists
    • Shall have extensive knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise working and supporting IT policy development, review, coordination, adjudication, rescissions and gaps IAW government processes and procedures
    • Shall be skilled in developing plans for policy development, assigning Policy Officers, Policy Champions, SMEs, OPRs and OCRs to develop and maintain assigned policies; in tracking and monitoring IT policy development progress, and in analyzing Policy Officer workloads; etc.
    • In addition to the above Required Skills and Expertise, position shall be knowledgeable of government policies, processes and procedures as they relate to government Section 508 and accessibility initiatives; and should have knowledge of / experience with a program (s) that ensures individuals with disabilities have access to EIT, and meets the compliance requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

    Required Security Clearance:

    • Possess an in-scope Top Secret Investigation that has been favorably adjudicated for SCI Eligibility and;
    • Are either: a. Currently indoctrinated into SCI access, or b. Was indoctrinated into SCI access within 24 months preceding the estimated award date
