    Syntelligent is seeking a IT Data Analyst (Level 3) for current work in Washington, D.C.
    Responsible for leading a team of ~18 LAN and WAN engineers who design and develop voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks. Must be able to perform the same design duties as a LAN/WAN engineer.
    Tasks will include:
    1. Must have good communications skills to communicate with both the Engineering Manager and the Government engineering leads.
    2. Organize, plan, and assign responsibilities to team members.
    3. Provides expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
    4. Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments.
    5. Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements.
    6. Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
    7. May provide technical support and troubleshooting to users.
    8. May perform network administration duties.
    9. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced network personnel and may have supervisory responsibilities.
    10. Serves as technical team or task leader.
    11. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
    12. Participates in special projects as required.


    Required Experience:

    Skills and Tasks. Exceptionally Complex - researches and evaluates new concepts and processes to improve performance. Analyzes cross-functional problem sets, identifies root causes and resolves issues. Assists more junior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities. Can perform all tasks of lower level technicians, specialists, and/or managers.


    o Leadership/Management. Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and leads multiple tasks, projects or teams. Oversees and monitors performance, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.

    o Guidance. Directs multiple teams through to project completion. Provides guidance and direction to lower level technicians, specialists, and managers.


    o Training and Certifications. DoD 8570 compliance IAT II or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order. Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order.


    o Capabilities and additional Requirements.  Apply Standard Characteristics of Labor Category Capability Levels.


    TS/SCI Security clearance and ability to obtain CI Poly prior to start.


    o Education and Experience.

    • HS/GED + 10 years 
    • Associates Degree + 8 years 
    • Bachelor’s Degree + 6 years 
    • Master’s Degree + 4 years 
    • PhD + 2 years
