    Responsibilities

    Syntelligent is seeking a Technical/Intelligence Recruiter (Virtual) to work with our team in developing and implementing the recruiting strategy. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to use your skills to establish sound relationships with program managers and candidates, create recruiting strategies to ensure success in filling requirements, possess excellent sourcing skills, develop a strong network of passive candidates, work collaboratively with our team and reinforcing our Syntelligent brand to attract the best qualified to join our team and serve the missions we support.

     

    Candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent recruiting techniques and innovative ideas to lead to overall success of the business. Other duties will include consulting with business on staffing and recruitment policies, ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity mandates, compensation guidelines and other Syntelligent processes. Candidate will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate push-back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. Candidate will have a knowledge and understanding of the needs of the Intelligence community as well as the government contracting industry. 

     

    Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

     

     

    The recruiter will support efforts for current positions as well as proposal requirements.  Responsibilities will consist of full life-cycle recruitment supporting various customers and programs: create/enter requisitions in ATS, actively source, screen, submit, selection, offer management (effectively negotiates, prepares, and extends offers) and coordinate onboarding with the team. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Skills: 

    • Bachelor's degree and minimum 2+ years’ experience recruiting/staffing for the Intelligence Community/DoD Agencies is preferred or a minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience working within the Intelligence/Defense industry.
    • Must have a proven track record in working with the IC and recruiting candidates with high-level security clearances (TS/SCI CI & FSP).
    • Demonstrated experience sourcing various levels of engineering, technical, analyst, and operational vacancies. 
    • Must be results-oriented; customer-service focused and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills.
    • Thrive working in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with ability to adjust easily to shifting focus of sourcing needs based on changing contract/proposal requirements.
    • Solid proficiency using a variety of recruitment tools to source candidates, including complex internet searches, social recruiting, job boards, search engines, networking (LinkedIn etc.) and direct sourcing. 
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with applicant tracking systems, specifically iCIMS.
    • Strong preference for candidates living and working as a recruiter in the Washington, D.C. area and experience working virtually.
    • Periodic travel within the Falls Church and to Luray, VA may be required.
