    Responsibilities

    Syntelligent is seeking an Imagery Analyst-Journeyman with an active TS/SCI and a current CI Poly (or ability to obtain one prior to start) for a current, awarded, and funded contract in Springfield, VA.
     
    Duties include:
    • Researching Cedalion/NES and other appropriate databases for amplifying information for use in producing standard agency imagery analysis products.
    • Effectively collaborating with the NSG, ASG, IC and other organizations that enhance collection, research, analysis and product generation processes.
    • A Journeyman Imagery Analyst shall be expected to work with minimal oversight and should be fully capable of meeting most services without direction. 
    • Journeyman Analysts are expected to assist apprentice level personnel in learning their trade. 
    • Journeyman Analysts also are expected to collaborate with Government and contractor personnel within the IC organization. Such collaboration should provide accurate technical information contributing to synergized analysis that is better than the sum of the individual parts. 
    • Journeyman Analysts should regularly provide division level support and may periodically be called upon to provide support at the office level. 

     

    Qualifications

    Required Experience:
    • At least 3 years of relevant Imagery analysis experience, preferably in the Intelligence Community at the national strategic level.
    • Attended either the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or equivalent.
    • Active TS/SCI Security clearance with current CI Poly (or ability to obtain one prior to start)
    • Knowledge of both soft copy exploitation and multi-spectral exploitation functionalities.
    • In-depth knowledge of the following systems and software programs: REMOTEVIEW, IEC, NES, and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and word processing. Knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
    • Must have the capability to read and understand intelligence issues, military affairs, and  develop Imagery Intelligence reports and products to solve problems.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery products, processes, and sensors.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to 4 years of this experience.

     

    Certifications:

    • All Analysts must complete the GEOINT Professional Certification-Fundamentals (GPC-F) within six months of onboarding. Consideration can be given to continuous progression in training and competency toward this certification's completion if unable to complete in the required timeline. Failure to complete this certification with a passing score could be cause for removal from the MACCS Program.

    • All Analysts must complete the GEOINT Professional Certification – Proficiency Level II – Imagery Analyst (GPC-PLII-IA) within nine months of onboarding. Consideration can be given to continuous progression in training and competency toward this certification's completion if unable to complete in the required timeline. Failure to complete this certification with a passing score can be cause for removal from the MACSS Program.
